Borinquen Zyn

On arrival at Borinquen Zyn you are greeted by a colourful natural setting surrounded by waterfalls. There is a great teleport system which allows you to visit each location the sim has to offer.

First stop is Sunset Cove where I shake off the the bikini and join the group in order to use the sim balls dotted around the sim.




It is an adult sim so there are plenty of areas for intimate fun in The Village. Sadly I am travelling alone so moving on..



The water slide sends me spluttering into the lagoon and once I get my bearings, I find myself on the edge of an underwater world 

More opportunities for romance here with an underwater jaccuzzi but I find a different toy to play with and...








I quickly remember why I need Ki to do all the driving when we go exploring.

But then I find one of my favorite things to do in second life and that is horse riding. 





Setting off around the sim I discover the games room, the events area with dancing, 

orcas and manta rays to ride, sunrise beach, flying dragons, a rainforest, BDSM cave, 

dolphin rides, zipline, bowling alley 

and the most remarkable thing about all this was discovering all this was done using just half a sim.

I enjoyed this place so much I decided to float around while doing my blog post.

A Postcard Christmas

A Postcard Christmas is a wonderful blend of art, fun and activities all set in a magical winter setting.

Arriving in an icy cavern it took a little while to rez but it was well worth the wait as the first piece of art is very dramatic.

Follow the pathway through the ice and find yourself in a winter wonderland where the designer has managed to blend together many of the creations of second life's fabulous builders to bring together a fantasy meets realistic setting perfectly.






Starting with the icy glass house, where you can dance and relax, to numerous small buildings and areas for sitting you can cam about trying to locate all the little hidden extra's this sim has to offer.

You will find a wealth of activities here so make sure you have plenty of time to take it all in.  We spent 2 hours here wandering, dancing, ice skating, sledging and skiing with a special mention the snowman who threw a snowball at my head, (Ki swears it wasn't him)  and an array of animals including the naughty bears destroying a Christmas tree.

There are some fantastic and well chosen pieces of artwork which add to the mix of fun, fantasy and realism which made this one of the best sim's we have visited in while.

Once Ki got the hang of the speed, we took a fun sled ride down the mountain.

It wasn't me!  I was just cleaning it off.

Ok I admit it, he was better at skiing than I was.

 Returning the following day to get some more photographs, I found a horse ride and a balloon ride that we must have missed. I think we will be returning here often just in case there is anything else added....

and of course to dance with Ki and the polar bears.

Aero Pines Park - Summer Carnival

All the fun of the fair! It is currently (until the end of August 2013) Carnival time at Aero Pines Park and so we recruited a couple of friends and sent them off for a day of exploring this (currently) 5 region park which is based on Aero Pines Air Park in the Northern California Sierra Foothills. Throughout  the year Aero Pines Park holds many themed events and so off to celebrate summer we go.

There are so many things to do at the Areo Pines Park that I am just going to cover a few.

With a multitude of fairground rides you need plenty of time and lots of candyfloss to get through it all.

I recommend using one of the many rezzers placed about to travel around the regions.  You can pick from jeeps, horses with or without buggies, golf carts, motorcycles, canoes and many more.

It really is a fun way to explore.

Of course no carnival would be complete without the rodeo.

Or make your way to Roxie's Roadhouse to take some time out for a much needed rest or a romantic champagne balloon ride located on the roof.

Can you find the underwater area too?

Jump into the tube and whizz down the waterside.

From rides to beautiful countryside there is something for everyone at Aero Pines Park.  I think the region is changing in September to prepare for autumn so get yourself over there quick and watch this space for updates of new events.










You can find plenty of shopping too for those who want it but no in your face hard sell which suits me fine. The Aero Pines community is welcoming to all ages, role play and avatar choices as long as you stick to the few simple rules: No nudity, weapons, begging, group recruiting or biting and leave other guests out of your role play.  Great place, great fun but you need a few hours to appreciate it and don't forget to go back often to see what new themes appear once the carnival has left town.
